Sekou Agard named to the United Soccer Coaches Men’s Scholar All-South Region

MACON – Defender Sekou Agard added another postseason honor to his already impressive collegiate resume on Friday when he was named to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men’s Scholar All-South Region. Agard, a junior from Snellville, Ga., was a vital piece to the Mercer defense during the 2023 season, logging a team-high 1,888 minutes of playing time and spearheading a defense that limited opponents to just 4.2 shots on goal and 1.05 goals per game.
