SLIMAK NAMED UNITED SOCCER COACHES SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN

INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI senior Sam Slimak has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Women’s Scholar All-America Third Team, as chosen by Division I head coaches. Slimak was previously named Second Team All-Region and First Team All-Horizon League. Slimak had six goals and two assists this fall, including four game-winning goals. She tallied the game-winning goals in victories over Southern Illinois, Youngstown State, Green Bay and Purdue Fort Wayne this past season, finishing atop the league in shot attempts (57) and game-winners (4).
