Kömmerling Named Academic All–American

2023 ACADEMIC ALL–AMERICA® MEN’S SOCCER TEAMS SEASIDE, Calif. — Junior midfielder Janos Kömmerling (Dusseldorf, Germany) trophy case got a bit more full Tuesday when he earned Academic All–America® honors as selected by the College Sports Communicators. He was one of only two players from the West Region to earn the award in 2023. Kömmerling is the seventh Otter to earn the award in the last 11 seasons and the third Otter men’s soccer player so honored.
