The Notre Dame men’s soccer team has received numerous awards and honors, with senior goalkeeper Bryan Dowd being recognized as TopDrawerSoccer’s National Player of the Year, the first goalkeeper to earn this honor. Dowd also received other accolades, including being named a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American and a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, after an outstanding season with 11 clean sheets and impressive goalkeeping statistics. Head Coach Chad Riley and his coaching staff were named the United Soccer Coaches National Coaching Staff of the Year. The team's achievements include its second College Cup appearance in three seasons and its first undefeated season in ACC play. Additionally, players Paddy Burns, Wyatt Lewis, and Bryce Boneau were honored for their academic and athletic contributions.
