Torrellas Named Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators

AUSTIN, Texas – Marc Torrellas of the Loyola University Chicago men’s soccer team was named a First Team Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday. Torrellas, who was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team this month as well, boasts an unblemished 4.0 GPA as a graduate student studying exercise science. The Ramblers’ captain midfielder, hailing from Barcelona, Spain, scored three goals and added a trio of assists for nine points in his final season with the Ramblers.
