Most would have never expected to see Belichick’s name on a list like this, but should the Patriots move on from their legendary coach – which has been rumored – he will immediately be sought after by several teams with head-coaching vacancies. Belichick’s resume speaks for itself with six Super Bowl titles across 24 years in New England. The 71-year-old has also coached in some capacity in the league for nearly 50 years. However, Belichick’s age may be the biggest drawback, and it is also fair to question if the game has passed him by in some capacity with the immense struggles the Pats have seen over the last few years. Still, he would seem to be a good hire for a team on the brink of playoff contention if he becomes available.
