Maddox and Mummert Earn Academic All-American Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ Cowgirl soccer seniors Kaylee Maddox and Mercy Mummert were named to the College Sport Communicators Academic All-American Team for NCAA Division III, announced on Wednesday by the organization. The duo of senior Cowgirls started each of the 22 Cowgirl games this season, ending the year with a record of 17-2-3 and an ASC Championship, finishing in the NCAA Sweet 16 round. Maddox and Mummert each boast a 4.00 undergrad GPA at Hardin-Simmons and were both named second team academic all-Americans by CSC. Only 13 of the 34 Division III soccer academic all-Americans carry perfect 4.00 GPAs.…
