Misericordia University women’s soccer standout Julia Beck has been named the 2023 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Academic All-American of the Year by the College Sports Communicators. A defender from Langhorne, Pa., Beck was a first-team Academic All-American and was named third-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. She anchored a defense that allowed just 17 goals and 3.3 shots on goal per match in 2023. She was also a scoring threat and talllied11 goals and dished out five assists for 27 points.
