WSOC: Four Huskies Earn Academic All-SLC Recognition

Follow @HCUWSoccer FRISCO, Texas – HCU placed four student-athletes on the 2023 Southland Conference women’s soccer all-academic teams announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. Earning first team honors are sophomore Alexa Huerta and senior Kat Lazor while Katie Marker and Mia Salas were each named second team selections. Lazor earns the second all-academic honor of her career after being named second team last year. The senior defender is an automatic first team selection this year by virtue of her first team all-conference award for the 2023 season.
