Jeremiah Hunter enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR
5. Texas
The chance to play in the SEC is something that most any college football player relishes and it could be what potentially lures Hunter to a place like Texas. The Longhorns will be in their first season in the SEC in 2024, but will likely have a different look than the team that won the Big 12 and earned a College Football Playoff berth in 2023, particularly in their receiver room. Already lacking depth at the position, it’s possible the Longhorns lose Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell and Jordan Whittington to the NFL. Even if one or two of those guys return, Steve Sarkisian will still likely need to make an addition or two at the position. Hunter could be that guy and the chance to play with Quinn Ewers, who may return to Austin in 2024, would be hard to pass up.
