SIX BEARS HONORED FOR ACADEMIC WORK

CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears had six football student-athletes named to the 2023 Academic All-District Team presented by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Those honored for their academics were: graduate tight end Austin Eldridge, graduate punter Chandler Caughron, graduate linebacker Darin Davenport, senior cornerback Andrew Hayes, junior placekicker Jake Gaster and sophomore linebacker Jake Golday. The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
