Five Astros earn Division I All-State football honors

Five Pinkerton Academy football players earned top honors, being named to the Division I All-State team, as voted on by the coaches, recently. The coaches named just 25 players – 11 offense, 12 defense and two specialists — to the prestigious squad. Linemen Adam Day and Joe Packowski each made the cut on offense, while linebacker Ryan Catineau and defensive back Caden were honored on the defense. The fifth selection was place-kicker Peyton Harmony. All five Astros named to the team are seniors.
