Broward girls bowler of the year: Kellie Monahan, Western sophomore

Western sophomore Kellie Monahan finished with the highest individual total score of all participating bowlers from Broward County at the FHSAA girls bowling state final, and the two-time state qualifier, has been recognized as the Sun Sentinel Broward girls bowler of the year. Monahan placed 18th at the state tournament with a series total of 792. She finished with an impressive high game of 235. Western finished 22nd overall at the state qualifier.
