10. Darren Woodson, S, Dallas Cowboys
Woodson makes the list of finalists for the second year in a row after earning his first finalist bid in January. The Cowboys Ring of Honor inductee played all 12 seasons of his career in Dallas, totaling a franchise-record 1,350 tackles with 26 interceptions, 26 tackles for loss, 12 forced fumbles, 11 fumble recoveries, 11 sacks and two interceptions returned for touchdowns.
He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection, a four-time first-team All-Pro selection and helped the Cowboys win Super Bowl XXVII, XXVIII and XXX. Woodson was also named the 2002 Bart Starr Award winner, given annually to the NFL player who serves as a positive role model to his family, teammates and community and a finalist for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2003. This is Woodson’s second year as a finalist after 16 years of eligibility.
