Four Warriors place at Conestoga
Bryan Clark The Southwest Iowa girls wrestling team had a pair of semifinalists, earning them a middle-of-the-pack finish at the 25-team Spotlight on Girls Wrestling Tuesday, Jan. 2, hosted by Conestoga, Nebraska. Lillian Howe finished third and Emily Kesterson fourth to lead the Warriors to a 13th-place finish. They finished with 64 team points in a field made up nearly exclusively by Nebraska schools. Crete scored 152 points to win the team title. Jocelyn Tackett and Clara Sapienza added fifth-place finishes for the Warriors.
