Silas Bolden enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR
3. Utah
Utah’s offense struggled in 2023 which was largely due to the absence of quarterback Cameron Rising after he suffered a severe knee injury in last year’s Rose Bowl game. Rising is expected to return in 2024 meaning the Utes’ offense has the potential to return to its 2022 form when it was a top-20 unit in the country. However, Utah will likely need to make a couple of additions to its wide receiver room in order to do so. The Utes’ leading wide receiver in 2023, Devaughn Vele, has declared for the NFL draft while Mikey Matthews has entered the transfer portal. Juniors Money Parks and Munir McClain should return, but there isn’t much depth behind them. Bolden would be a big addition for Kyle Whittingham and could have a breakout season while catching passes from Rising.
