Salt Lake City, Utah – The New Mexico Highlands women’s basketball team snapped a five game losing skid with a 59-69 win over Westminster on Friday evening. The Cowgirls are now 4-9 overall and 3-4 in the RMAC. Westminster falls to 2-12 overall and 0-6 in conference play. The Cowgirls used a strong defensive effort, holding Westminster to 49 points which is the third fewest points allowed by the NMHU this season.
