Panthers hold off Tigers to hand BI first loss of season

The Liberty County Panthers handed the Bradwell Institute boys basketball team its first loss of the season, holding on for a 65-55 win Saturday night at a raucous LCHS gym. The Panthers improved to 7-3 on the season. With the loss, the Tigers, ranked No. 10 in Class AAAAA, fell to 14-1. The Lady Tigers, ranked No. 7 in Class AAAAA, rolled to a 78-32 win over the Lady Panthers. Bradwell improved to 14-1 on the season while the Lady Panthers slipped to 4-7.
