Diaz Named CSC Academic All-American

CSC Release AUSTIN, Texas — Allegheny College’s Jacy Diaz (Barranquitas, Puerto Rico/Gallatin (Tenn.)) joined exclusive company on Tuesday as the second-year libero was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team. Diaz is the first Gator to garner Academic All-America honors since 2020-21 and the first volleyball player recognized in over two decades. Diaz joins Missy Rau (1996), Molly Dietz (1991), Amy Kissinger (1984), and Amy Smith (1984) as the only volleyball student-athletes in program history to earn the prestigious award.
