By: Ryley Collom, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications & Digital Media AUSTIN— The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team was announced on Tuesday, with Laura Walewska and Mia Jerue of California Baptist University volleyball being selected to the prestigious list. The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA and compete in 90% of the institution’s contests to be considered for the award. Jerue led the team in aces and digs with 47 and 305, respectively.…
