Mirasola 1st at Cheesehead Invite

KAUKAUNA — Connor Mirasola took first place at 190 pounds to lead West Bend West wrestling during Saturday’s conclusion of the two-day Cheesehead Invitational hosted at Kaukauna. The Spartans took 18th with 220 points while Southeast Polk of Iowa won the event with 591.5. Mirasola remained perfect in 27 bouts for the season by pinning Brent Slade (21-2) of Southeast Polk in 3:15.
