NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana’s Kennedy Wade was a repeat selection Wednesday on the 2023 All-Louisiana women’s volleyball team. Wade earned a spot on the second team. She was first team in 2022. Receiving honorable mention were XULA’s Ruxandra Flueras and Taylor Parker. A Louisiana Sports Writers Association panel of college volleyball publicists selected the team. Wade, a senior outside hitter from Gainesville, Fla., and a graduate of Buchholz High School, hit .242 in 22 matches in 2023 with a team-leading 286 kills and 329 points.
