BOZEMAN — A potent winter storm causing whiteout conditions on highways and forecast to drop temperatures well below zero for the next few days has caused postponements of high school sports events across Montana from Thursday through Saturday. First to get hit was northwest Montana, where Kalispell, Columbia Falls and Whitefish schools announced early Thursday that games scheduled for Friday would be postponed.
