Alyssa Bourgeois Taken in NWSL Draft

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women’s soccer senior Alyssa Bourgeois was drafted by the Houston Dash with the fifth pick of the fourth round, 47th overall, in the National Women’s Soccer League Draft on Friday. This is the sixth year in a row a Bronco has been taken in the draft. Bourgeois played three years at Santa Clara after transferring from Boston. During her time with the Broncos, she was an integral part of both the offense and defense.
