Meet Liberty North softball player, senior Ali Williams
LIBERTY, Mo. — Liberty North senior Ali Williams finished an outstanding softball season for the Eagles this fall. She earned First-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-District, and First-Team All-Region honors. Williams also has earned Academic All-State honors and will continue her education and sports career at Western Illinois University next year. She has been a four-year Academic letter winner and is a member of the National Honor Society.
“One of my most memorable moments from this season has got to be our big win against Blue Springs,” says Williams. “We lost to them previously, so coming up with a win against them was big. I played well; I hit a huge home run and threw out a few runners. Winning against them for our last regular season game gave us good momentum going into post-season and a lot of confidence to face solid upcoming competition.”
