Swimming suffers double loss to Whitworth University
TACOMA, Wash. – The men’s swimming team came very close in the 200-yard medley relay finishing just .3 of a second behind Whitworth, but couldn’t continue that momentum moving forward, losing to Whitworth University 133-64, while the women’s team came much closer with a 107.5-95.5 loss. Among the standout performances by the women’s team, Maddy Brennan clinched a first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.87, and then second place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:35.14.
