Top Performances at UAB’s Vulcan Invitational: Thomas Fastest in 60m Dash, Mississippi State’s Strong Showing

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alcorn State University men’s indoor track & field team competed at the University of Alabama-Birmingham’s Vulcan Invitational on Saturday morning. In the men’s 60-meter dash, Amiri Franklin placed 18th with a time of 7.10 seconds. Tydreke Thomas of Troy University placed first in the event with a time of 6.72 seconds while Danarrion Ard of Mississippi State University came in second with a time of 6.75 seconds.
