High school basketball: North Pitt girls run past Cape Fear

Taking on North Pitt’s girls’ basketball team was already a difficult assignment, but the emergence of Zihanna Lightfoot could make taking out the Panthers an even tougher task. Lightfoot’s 19 points and 15 rebounds were instrumental in North Pitt’s 70-53 victory over previously undefeated Cape Fear on Monday at the Bojangles MLK Invitational at the Falcons Nest.
