Mason Short, 2025 4-star OL, decommits from Alabama

Another recruiting domino has fallen when it comes to Alabama Crimson Tide commitments. This time, however, it’s an offensive lineman that’s deciding it’s time to look at other options. According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Evans 2025 offensive lineman Mason Short has officially decommitted from Alabama. Short, a 4-star offensive lineman according to 247Sports, has 20 offers on the table currently. Though Alabama moved quickly to hire former Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer, that hasn’t stopped recruits like Short from deciding to reopen their options.
