Pirates lose first game of season in Illinois

LISLE, Ill. — Pewaukee’s girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season playing in the Derrill Kipp Hoopsfest hosted by Benet Academy in Illinois, falling 44-43 to Nazareth (Ill.) on Monday. The Pirates, ranked second in Division 2, took a 29-22 lead into halftime but trailed by two entering the fourth quarter.
