BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Joining the ranks of the nation’s top hurdlers, Joseph DeRosier showcased his speed at the UAB Vulcan Invite. The redshirt freshman not only secured a personal record but also clinched first place in the 60-meter hurdles prelim with an impressive time of 7.93. His performance now stands 33rd overall on the NCAA Division I Indoor Qualifying List, earning him the well-deserved title of Southwestern Athletic Conference Co-Indoor Track Athlete of the Week (Jan. 17). DeRosier also won the 60-meter hurdle final in 7.93. He will return to action this Friday and Saturday at the Carolina Challenge.
