MAAC Announces Tennis Preseason Poll

Edison, NJ—On Tuesday, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the results of the men’s and women’s tennis coaches’ preseason poll. The Niagara men’s tennis team was selected to finish fourth while the women’s team was picked to finish fifth in the MAAC. The men’s team earned 25 votes following a 3-3 MAAC season a year ago. In the fall the Purple Eagles went 1-0 in their lone dual match. Niagara returns eight players last season while two freshmen will enter their first championship season.
