Veteran college football coach retires after 30 years
The college football coaching community is about to lose one of its longest-tenured members as head coach Tim Murphy announced his retirement after leaving the Harvard Crimson program for the last 30 seasons. Murphy retires as the winningest football coach in Ivy League history after posting a 200-89 overall record and bringing the Crimson 10 conference championships. In his career, including stops at Maine and Cincinnati, the Kingston, Mass., native completed a 232-134-1 record.
