Davis Breaks Freshman Record, Haagensen Wins Pole Vault

NEW YORK CITY– The Colgate Women’s and Men’s Track and Field teams competed at the Ramapo Opener Friday, Jan. 19 in New York City. WOMEN Melinda Haagensen won the pole vault with a 3.60m vault and Julianna Hallyburton came in second with a vault of 3.30m. This comes off the heels of Haagensen winning Patriot League Rookie of the Week. MEN Liam Davis set the Colgate freshman record in the mile run, winning the event with a time of 4:12.92.
