Lake Forest Drops Series Opener at #4 Adrian

The Forester men’s hockey team was defeated 6-2 Friday night at Adrian College, the fourth-ranked team in the nation. Adrian scored the only goal of the opening period and the first two of the second. Eight seconds after falling behind 3-0, Lake Forest responded with junior forward Griffen Sanom’s eighth goal of the season. It was set up by junior defenseman Matteas Derraugh, who also assisted on the first score of the year by junior forward Tyler Buonopane at the 13:08 mark.
