Daugherty’s career night lifts Lancers past Hale

WEST ALLIS — Jack Daugherty scored a career-high 44 points and made 11 threes, as Brookfield Central’s boys basketball team routed West Allis Hale 92-57 in a Greater Metro Conference contest Thursday. Daugherty shot a sizzling 11 of 13 from beyond the arc and went 14 of 19 overall, as he scored over 30 points for the third consecutive game and notched a double-double with 11 rebounds. The Lancers, who led 49-33 at halftime, also got 12 points and seven rebounds from Henry Gruetzmacher, 13 points from Jkien Forney, and a 10-point, eight-rebound effort from Charlie Geske.
