Track and Field Competes At Butler Invite

INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men’s and women’s track and field team competed at the Butler Invitational on Saturday. The meet took place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and hosted 10 teams. The teams included IUPUI, SIU Edwardsville, Vincennes, Butler, Valparaiso, St. Norbert, Western Michigan, Taylor, and Wright State. During the meet, six Greyhounds became eligible to compete at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships. To do this, each Hound had to pass the provisional requirements set by the NCAA. WOMEN’S RECAP Zoe Pentecost took first in the weight throw after throwing for 19.45 meters. Ellie Lengerich competed in the high jump.…
