Bruce Brown trade rumors heating up; 5 potential landing spots
5. Miami Heat
Several of the East’s top contenders like the Celtics, Knicks and 76ers could also be after Brown, but one of the more logical landing spots for the 6-foot-4 guard would seem to be Miami. The reigning Eastern Conference champs have again been solid to start the 2023-24 season, even with Jimmy Butler missing time due to injury over the past month. The Heat saw how important a contributor Brown can be up close in last year’s NBA Finals, particularly as he scored 21 points in a pivotal Game 5 victory for the Nuggets. Brown’s style of play seems to fit Erik Spoelstra’s system well, and he would provide some important backcourt depth for the Heat down the stretch, particularly with the team potentially moving on from Kyle Lowry.
