Chattanooga Red Wolves Signs Omar Hernandez
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Former Mercer men’s soccer standout Omar Hernandez has signed a professional contract with the Chattanooga Red Wolves of the United Soccer League, the organization announced recently. Hernandez played a key role in MU’s run to the Southern Conference Tournament title in November after playing his first three collegiate seasons at Wake Forest. He saw action in 18 matches during the fall, including 16 starts, and recorded nine points on three goals and a trio of assists.
