Frisco Emerson quarterback Michael Hawkins earns Star Local Media All-Area Football Team MVP honor

The Frisco Emerson football Mavericks put together a season to remember by advancing to the state semifinals in just their second varsity campaign and quarterback Michael Hawkins led the way. And that is why Hawkins has earned the MVP award for the Star Local Media All-Area Football Team for the 2023 season. The Oklahoma-signee was voted as the 3-5A Division II most valuable player, just one of many accolades earned by one of the most dynamic players in the country.
