AUSTIN, Texas – Benedict College defensive standouts Loobert Denelus and Ja’ron Kilpatrick have been named to the 2023 Academic All-America® Division II football teams for the second year in a row, as selected by the College Sports Communicators. Denelus repeats as a first-team Academic All-American®, while Kilpatrick was named to the first-team this year after being a second-team selection in 2022.
