WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Charlie Nascimben has been named the Patriot League Male Swimmer of the Week the league offices announced Tuesday afternoon. The is the second weekly honor of the season for the Crusaders. Nascimben is the first swimmer in men’s program history to be named swimmer of the week two times in their career. During the Crusaders 179-115 win at Colgate last Wednesday, Nascimben placed first in all four events he participated in, the 50-yard freestyle (21.86), the 100-yard freestyle (47.06), the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:26.45) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:36.14).
