Former Ichabod inks contract with Winnipeg Blue Bombers

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Canada — Former Ichabod wide receiver Peter Afful has become the second former Washburn football player to take their talents north of the border as he signed a contract to join the roster of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He joins teammate James Letcher, Jr. in the Canadian Football League, who was a standout return specialist for the Montreal Alouettes.
