Guarino Earns Swimmer of the Week Honors

Flushing, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference announced it’s weekly award winners for the conference’s women’s swimming and diving teams on Tuesday afternoon. Kiana Guarino earned recognition for Hunter College as the Swimmer of the Week. Guarino had a strong week in the pool for the Hawks, including setting a new school record in the 100-yard I.M. with a time of 1:03.22. She also posted the league’s top time in the 500-yard freestyle (5:31.16). Hunter returns to the pool on Jan. 26 to compete in the CUNYAC Championships.
