Top 2023 Somerset County girls soccer players honored

The 2023 Somerset County girls soccer teams were recognized on Sunday at Somerset Area High School. Conemaugh Township’s Ashlyn Fetterman (junior), Izzy Slezak (forward), Scott Thomas (coach) and Katie Wiley (defensive) earned top MVP or coaching awards. Berlin Brothersvalley’s Mikaela Glessner (freshman), North Star’s Abby Barnick (goalkeeper), Rockwood’s Mollie Wheatley (senior) and Windber’s Mariah Andrews (midfielder) and Nici Costlow (sophomore) were also honored.
