WH: #8 Colby tops Panthers

WATERVILLE, Maine – Colby College scored twice in the opening two minutes on the way to an 8-0 win over Plymouth State University in a non-conference women’s ice hockey game at Jack Kelley Rink on Tuesday afternoon. The Mules, ranked eighth in this week’s USCHO.com national poll, stormed out to a 3-0 lead in the first 4:07 of action to seize control early. The hosts added a fourth first-period tally late in the frame before bookending the second period with another two scores. Colby rounded out the scoring with a pair of third-period markers.
