With the game tied at 2-2, the Monroe Cheesemakers scored three goals in the third period to defeat the McFarland boys hockey team 5-2 on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at McFarland Community Ice Center. Wyatt Janecke scored the go-ahead goal for Monroe at the 11:00 mark in the third period. Hans Brandt and Cameron Newcomer also scored for the Cheesemakers later in the period.
