The game took place at Floyd L. Maines Arena in Delhi, NY. SUNY Canton's record was 9-12 (5-5 NAC) while SUNY Delhi's record was 10-8 (5-3 NAC) Canton jumped out to an early 11 point lead (16-5) just under seven minutes into the game following a Jevonte Williams layup. The Roos led by six on multiple occasions in the second half before a 7-0 run gave Delhi their first lead of the second half at 50-49 with 12 minutes to play. SUNY Canton led 34-30 at intermission. Marven Louissaint led all scorers with 11 first-half points for the hosts. Kevin Goode Jr. stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Both teams shot the ball fairly evenly from the field and behind the arc. The Roos had a big advantage at the foul line shooting nearly 80% (27-for-34), while Delhi was just 45% (9-for-20).
