Holy Cross Women’s Track and Field Impresses at Riverhawk Invitational in Boston

The Holy Cross women's track and field teams competed at the Riverhawk Invitational held at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. The Crusaders competed against 45 other collegiate teams. Sophomore Fiona Doherty took second place in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:12.37. Sophomore Alex Lusby finished in sixth place in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:14.27. Sophomore Giavanna Ciaravino played seventh in the 60m dash with a time of 8.04. Junior Maura Switzer came in 14th in the pole vault with a 3.45m mark. Junior Jane Feeney had a season-best in the long jump with a 5.40m to take 12th place. Senior Maura Campbell came in 11th in the weight throw with a 14.64m mark. Sophomore Ester Mokonchu placed 12th in the weight throw with a 14.32m mark. The 4x400 relay team claimed fifth place at the competition with a time of 3:56.60. The Holy Cross women's track and field teams will return to action on Friday, Feb. 9 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University in Boston, Mass.
