Megan Hinz was also a standout collegiate keeper at Michigan. Megan Hinz was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a two-time Michigan Athletic Academic Achievement honoree. Megan Hinz served as an assistant coach at DePaul University in Chicago. Megan Hinz completed her master's degree in business management from the University of Maryland in 2022. Megan Hinz earned her bachelor's degree in health and fitness leadership in 2017 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
